RTweet from @stilettojungle today:
J. Mendel is officially the first #NYFW show where I want to wear every single piece. Every one. I'm so smitten. http://bit.ly/4mDpbX
A collection of beautiful pieces featuring frills of tulle, flowing skirts, structure and sculptural design in a clean palatte of white, bone and latte with a dreamy splash of sweet spring colours mixed in for good measure. Beautiful!

I recently came across these cute little golden book notebooks by Mellimoomoo.
Made from recycled golden books, these notebooks are perfect gifts for baby showers, ideal as a children's scrap book or diary (or if you're just an old sentimental like me, you'll find any excuse to have one!)
We found them at Mellimoomoo's market stall in Byron Bay, but you can find these notebooks as well as heaps of other children's products and toys (including ethical, organic and handcrafted pieces) at mellimoomoo.com.au

tea for two

Today I caught up with my lovely friend Emma, who has recently arrived home from her travels around Europe!
We usually do tea and scones in the city but today, we came across a cute little tea cafe called T'Licious at Southbank's Grey Street... Great staff, the best scones, cookies and slices, and hundreds of varieties of tea! We spent ages looking through the teas but finally settled on the peach and berry devonshire tea (recommended by our lovely cashier) and bought the rosebud tea, tradition turkish apple, and champagne sencha teas to take home. Not sure how they'll taste yet but I'm on a mission to find a herbal/green tea I really like (I'm usually a bit of an English Breakfast tea kinda girl).
...We've decided T'Licious is our new regular!
What's your favourite tea?
(The walk through Southbank on the way home was so pretty!)

Since beginning our blog, as newbies to the blogworld a few weeks ago, we thought we would have a look around at what else is out there, blog-wise...
Here are our top 5 fave blogs & sites so far!

1.punkystyle.com - "Diary of a shop-aholic, vintage lover and fashion junkie" - The adventures of a young fashionista and her cute little caravan (bursting with vintage fashion fun-ness!), their travels all over the place. (And the sweetest little puppy you've ever seen!) This is one of the first sites I found on my journey through the jungle of blogs, and it's still the first I come back to every few days. Check it out! punkystyle.com

2.frankie.com.au - A great magazine with heaps of sweet, whimsical, kitch, funky, fun stuff... from fashion, craft, music, art, photography, and everything in between. This site is a great little sneak peek into the magazine.

3. A Cup of Joe, (JoannaGoddardBlogspot) 'Art, photography, fashion, design, bikes and the people I love' - A lovely little blog (written by NY writer Joanna Goddard), with bits and bobs on fashion finds, photos and what's happening in her world, as well as everything in between. Regular questions and questionnaires to the readers and regular giveaways for devotees makes this a super sweet little blog you'll want to keep checking back in on.http://joannagoddard.blogspot.com
4. Style Slicker 'London Street Style - Do you have the London Style?'
- A clean blog with a slick, minimal layout and photographs galore profiling the fabulous style of the London fashion crowd. This one has frequent interviews with those in the biz as well as behind the scenes looks at fashion shoots, articles and more.
5. Dailybitsofbeauty.com 'If you give beauty you shall receive it in abundance' - The prettiest collection of photos and fashion with a dash of nostalgia and a sprinkle of whimsical. *sigh* Just lovely.
And, I'm sure there are more out there... What's your favorite blog/website?

Spring soundtrack...

...I think the soundtrack to my Spring season shall be... Lisa Mitchell's new album (Wonder). I've been listening to it a bit recently... It's been described as faux hiphop lullaby(WTF?), quirky and lovable which takes the listener away to sunny places (well that one makes sense). All I know is it sounds like spring to me... It's sweet and a little rose-tinted-sunglasses style (and truth be told it sounds a little "special" at times... but that's part of it's charm) and I quite like it!
What are you listening to?
