Happy holidays

Been away camping with friends, first time since the family camping trips of childhood... Some beautiful scenery, great little boutiques and cafes, and much relaxing...

Lots of jellyfish and bluebottles. Fun!

Polaroids are back (well they will be by mid 2010) according to Sportsgirl, thanks to the persistence of people who love/need/want/must have polaroid (That's what people power does!) The soon to be re-released Polaroid One is going straight onto my wish list!
Please and thank you Santa :)

When you were little, did you ever...
... spend hours with the siblings yelling into the pedestal fan, laughing at how funny your voice sounded? *Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhzzzzzzzzhhhh*

... make "cow patts"? (you put a bit of every ingredient into a bowel, mix and bake into muffins... then try to eat them, lol! Hillarious!
(Lauren G & I made several batches over the years. Some good, most not, lol!)

... Play KFC in the backyard. You set up shop in the backyard and "drive thru" on your bikes to buy "chips" (bread cut into chip shaped pieces) with leaf money. Awww...

... make cubbies with whatever you could find (our favourite was under the kitchen table with sheets for walls OR several umbrellas in igloo shape)

... played around for hours in the photobooth (WE HAVE! Fuuuun!)

Making the most of the little moments...

(We were lucky enough to be involved in Frock Paper Scissors 2008.
Check out our article here (our article pg 12-13) (and a few of our moves pg 32-36)

The magazine is a great opportunity for up and coming fashionistas. Check out the Frock gang and their work on their website

If you need a good old fashioned laugh, check out @shitmydadsays (twitter)

The tweets are written by a 29 y/o guy living with his 73y/o Dad. He explains "I just write down shit that he says... He is awesome."
...Well, judging by the 684,080 followers, a few other people think so too! Check it out and have a bit of a chuckle :)
Here's a few of my faves...

"You sure do like to tailgate people... Right, because it's real important you show up to the nothing you have to do on time."
